Why did you become a Collaborative Professional?

I wanted to work with other Collaborative Professionals in helping divorcing couples reach a peaceful, efficient and productive conclusion to their marriages as opposed to the more traditional adversarial process.

What advice would you give future Collaborative Professionals?

Remember that unlike in traditional divorces, we are working together as a team to reach a mutually beneficial conclusion for the couple. This means that we must truly be neutral and look out for the best interests of the couple instead of for any one spouse.

What is your favorite part of being a CLP Member?

Working with this group of truly great people who are all dedicated to helping couples achieve a collaborative divorce.

If you could be on any game show, which would you choose?

Jeopardy. I really enjoy the wide range of knowledge required to be successful.

What is the weirdest thing you’ve ever eaten?

Chicken blood soup (in Thailand)

Best advice you ever received?

To understand a business, you have to learn about all aspects of it, not just the financial side.

If you could time travel, would you go back in time to meet your ancestors, or forward in time to meet your descendants? Why?

To go forward in time so that I can meet people and learn about events that would occur long after I am gone.
