Bella Schnall is of counsel in the Philadelphia office of Greenblatt, Pierce, Engle, Funt & Flores, LLC. She is Director of the firm’s Family Law Division, with over 30 years’ experience in the area of domestic relations. Ms. Schnall handles a wide range of matters including divorce, child support and child custody as well as drafting pre- and post-nuptial agreements. She practices in Philadelphia, Montgomery, Delaware and Bucks Counties.
After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania, magna cum laude in 1973, Ms. Schnall attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Law, graduating in 1976. She began her career as an attorney for Western Massachusetts Legal Services. Thereafter she was a Clinical Instructor at the University of Pennsylvania School of Law from 1982-1986.
Ms. Schnall entered solo private practice in 1986. Over the past 30 years she has represented many clients in all areas of domestic relations. She is committed to obtaining the best possible outcome for her clients whether the case is resolved through negotiation or concludes after trial. Ms. Schnall is an experienced family law litigator and a seasoned negotiator. She makes every effort to resolve her clients’ cases as simply and effectively as possible.

Bella Schnall is a trained Collaborative Divorce Attorney working with clients to resolve their cases without resorting to litigation. She served a co-President of Collaborative Lawyers of Southeastern Pennsylvania for the past two years. In that capacity she has participated in expanding the visibility of Collaborative Family Law in the five-county area as well as provided training for professionals seeking to learn more about this growing area of practice.
Ms. Schnall has earned preeminent AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell for her legal skills and her ethical practice for the past 15 years. She was named one of Philadelphia’s top rated lawyers in the area of family law in 2012 and 2013.
Bella Schnall serves on the Board or Directors of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Volunteers for the Indigent Program (VIP). This agency recruits private counsel to provide pro bono legal assistance to clients in civil matters would otherwise be incapable of redressing their legal rights.
