I approach my work with authenticity, compassion, and a family systems perspective, striving to create a safe, collaborative space for healing and growth. With 21 years of experience working with families, I am deeply committed to supporting families through one of life’s most challenging transitions: divorce. My goal is to help clients find respectful, constructive resolutions that prioritize the well-being of all family members, particularly children.
Drawing on a family systems framework, I guide clients in exploring the emotional and relational dynamics at play during the divorce process. I focus on ensuring that each person’s voice is heard, and I work to maintain a cooperative environment rather than an adversarial one. I am dedicated to fostering open communication, boundaries, mutual respect, and understanding, helping clients move forward with clarity, dignity, and a renewed sense of empowerment.
I have completed extensive training in family dynamics, family conflict, trauma, collaborative practice, and conflict resolution. My work is grounded in the principles of respect, empathy, and collaboration, and I am committed to helping clients navigate divorce with a focus on long-term success, healing, and maintaining positive family relationships.
My professional journey includes roles as an individual, family, and group therapist at a treatment center for teens and women with eating, mood, anxiety, and personality disorders. I also have substantial experience in outpatient clinics and community health centers. In addition to my clinical work, I serve as a speaker and author on mental health topics, advocating for awareness and support, particularly for victims of intimate partner violence. I have also contributed to the divorce and co-parenting field as a custody evaluator, mediator, and collaborative divorce professional, and have shared my expertise as an adjunct professor at Temple University.
