Ms. Bobman is a member of Bort Law where her practice is focused on divorce and family related matters, elder law and consumer law. She is trained in both mediation and collaborative law, and is a member of the Collaborative Law Professionals of Southeastern Pennsylvania and the Collaborative Law and Mediation Committees of the Montgomery Bar Association. She is a court-appointed Mediator in the Court of Common Pleas of Montgomery and Chester Counties and serves as Master in the Mortgage Foreclosure Diversion Program.
Ms. Bobman is a graduate of Temple University School of Law and a summa cum laude graduate of the Pennsylvania State University. She served as Law Clerk in the Court of Common Pleas of Bucks County, Staff Attorney in the Court of Common Pleas of Montgomery County, and is a former assistant Public Defender in Montgomery County. Ms. Bobman is a member of the Pennsylvania and Montgomery Bar Associations, the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania Bankruptcy Conference. She is a member of the Family Law Section of both the Pennsylvania and Montgomery Bar Association.
Ms. Bobman serves as a court appointed guardian ad litem for minor children in custody, abuse and criminal matters, and as Special Master in contested divorce matters. She is frequently appointed to represent parents in dependency and involuntary termination matters. She offers free consultations to individuals referred by the Women’s Center of Montgomery County and provides pro bono representation in divorce and bankruptcy matters through Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania.
Ms. Bobman has lectured on the issues of Divorce and Bankruptcy on behalf of the Pennsylvania Bar Institute and the Montgomery Bar Association.
